The goal of this project was to create a web tool that benefits students, developed for the course Digital Methodologies. The course set six weeks for it, but alongside other projects, around two to three weeks went into building it.
RF-PG is a random font pairing generator that pairs two typefaces from a library of around 80 fonts.
Concept and Design
The central design concept revolves around using chaos as a tool, encouraging experimentation over reliance on familiar fonts and proven pairings. The interface is kept minimal so the type itself carries the weight.
Fonts can be locked, pairings saved, and every typeface is credited to its designer. The logo also switches font letter by letter every second.
