For this project, each student was assigned material from icelandic poets. We had to set up a book design for the material — this included a cover design, book layout, text layout, material selection, printing and book binding.
Book cover
The cover went through alot of design revisions. The cover ended up using a design inspired by the Icelandic countryside and textile culture as it related to the Poet in a meaningful way.
Book Layout
I wanted the book layout to be quite traditional, so that was one of my goals.
